The current floor was a new polished concrete slab. To start all the lines where marked out and the slab was prepared by diamond grinding to achieve the required surface key.

Factory Walkways and crossings.

Our client required walkways and pedestrian crossings installing to the new factory.  The current floor was a polished concrete surface. Before we could install any epoxy resin we needed to prepare the surface. This time we used enclosed shot blasting to remove the surface layer to achieve the required surface key.

A Single coat of Epoxy Primer was then applied.

Clear Epoxy Primer.

Once the primer had cured a top coat of Solvent Free high Build Epoxy Coating with a texture additive was applied. The Texture additive will help to achieve a slip resistant surface.

The Finishing Touches:

The final process was the installation of the pedestrian crossings and yellow demarcation lines. We also installed hash-boxes to all fire exits.

Warehouse safety signage

Our client operates a busy distribution warehouse, with a large fork truck traffic volume. They required some urgent safety signage to be installed to comply with health and safety, and to prevent any accidents.

Over a weekend we installed 12 large no stopping zones to all blind corners around the warehouse road ways.

Preparation:

The current surface where the signage was to be installed was polished concrete. So we had to grind the surface to remove and contaminants and achieve the required surface key. Once the preparation was complete the grinded concrete was sealed with a clear epoxy primer.

Demarcation:

The next step once the primer had cured was to mask out the hash-box lines on the floor. Once this was complete a coat of Epoxy Line marking paint was applied.
